I’m a Los Angeles native, currently living in Austin + the designer behind Design Makes Me Happy. I love simplicity, white space + stay true to the belief that every design decision should have a purpose.
I help small business owners bring their ideas to life + attract their ideal clients with a cohesive, intentional brand. The design process can be intimidating, but it doesn’t have to be. Throughout your project, you’ll work one-on-one with me as we create a brand that will serve you for years to come.
Design has to be more than just ‘pretty’… it needs to be functional as well. Within every aspect of my work, I strive to achieve this balance.
Some of my favorite things: having adventures with my husband, snuggling with my fur baby, gizmo, drinking all the oat milk lattes, throwing clay on a pottery wheel, gardening + strolling farmer’s markets.
Since launching the studio in 2007, Design Makes Me Happy has helped clients bring life to their business through design. While we all want something pretty, design isn’t just about making something that looks good. I believe your visuals are there to clearly communicate who you are, what you do, and the experience a potential customer will have with you. DMMH helps do that through branding, print + web design.
While currently a one-woman operation, I work with talented photographers, illustrators, printers + web developers to ensure all visual materials are exactly the way we want them to be.
